How to fix bizhub Scan To Email Error Code 535

Starting May 30, 2022, Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign into your Google Account using only your username and password.

If ‘Less Secure app access’ is ON for your Google Account, it will be automatically disabled from 30th May 2022. This will mean if you are using Gmail for ‘Scan To E-mail’ the device will display Error Code 535.

On Konica Minolta multifunction printers using Gmail for ‘Scan to E-mail’ or sending/receiving E-mail, it is necessary to change the setting.

Please follow the steps to:

  • Enable 2-Step Verification
  • Enable App Password
  • Change Password on your Konica Minolta multifunction device
