We have a strong culture of promoting and protecting health and safety and worker wellbeing within our organisation regular communications and training and an established Health and Safety Committee.
From the safety of our products, to the ways in which we work and engage with others and the world around us, we are committed to ensuring that our business activities are conducted in a manner that protects our people, the environment and the wider community.
We regard management of health and safety as an integral and fundamentally important part of our business and strive to create a culture in which health and safety is front of mind and part of our everyday business.
All employees and contractors of KM have a role to play in keeping the workplace safe. We meet this duty of care through providing:
- Communications – our on-going communications program includes information on wellbeing and health, including mental health.
- Policies – we have a series of policies that relate to the health, safety and wellbeing of our people that are updated regularly. Our Supplier Code of Conduct provides health and safety requirements to ensure all suppliers make proper provision for the health and safety of their employees, contractors, visitors and those in the community who may be impacted by their operations.
- Training – we provide training for all of our employees regarding the health, wellbeing and safety issues relevant to their roles.
